Agnes Pinterne Tasnadi
I am a qualified teacher. I was the manager of an English-Hungarian kindergarten in Buda for nearly 20 years. I believe that children should gain a good understanding of Maths and Hungarian language before they start school. In 2005 I published ‘Movement exercises in nurseries’ based on the Kovacs method (ball and balloon exercises). This has now been featured as a training material for kindergarten teachers. I have four children and a grand child.
I graduated with distinction from ELTE Teacher and Preschool Teacher Training Faculty. My degree specialization was in early years learning, whilst at university I gained great insight into childhood educational development. I have an intermediate language certificate in English, at present I work as a kindergarten teacher of Hungarian and in the future I would like to teach English as well. I think it is really important that children at young age start to learn foreign languages. I believe in the creative methodology of teaching and the stimulation of children’s interest through play. I am a cheerful, patient and enthusiastic member of the kindergarten team.
